Delivery and Assembly

UK Mainland Delivery

We use a variety of delivery methods, from the good old Post Office for items like cushions, to a specialist Glass delivery company for mirrors and framed prints. Upholstery is delivered from a central hub and it is placed in the room of your choice, the same is generally true for cabinet furniture which comes direct from our supplier. 

Naturally, like everything in life there is a cost and we make a notional charge of £30 for delivery (if it only cost that little we would be delighted) - smaller and non fragile items that are sent by post are usually £15.

If you would like a "White Glove Service” where everything is assembled for you and packaging taken away, this is possible on most deliveries subject to a small additional charge which we will have to advise you when we have seen exactly what is on the order. 

Collect In-store

Larger items may not be available for in store collection. In which case we will contact you to discuss a suitable delivery option.

International Delivery

This is a little bit more complicated but we have recently delivered to as far afield as North America, Dubai and New Zealand using varying methods. With the framed prints which contain glass we replace the glass with acrylic, it costs a little more but does ensure that you picture arrives intact without having the extra cost of building a wooden crate and the extra freight cost that the crate incurrs. So we can ship anything anywhere, its just a question of cost. Please contact us if you would like anymore information on overseas shipping.

Lead times:

Our delivery lead-time varies across our product range – some smaller items are in stock so we’ll dispatch them direct from the store (within 1 – 3 days), whilst others have to be delivered in from our suppliers or are made to order and will take a little longer.  Approximate delivery lead times are stated on each product page, but as a guide we have provided approximate times below.

Upholstery:  This is made to your specific order so will take between 6-8 weeks to arrive in the UK, for onward delivery to you.


Furniture: Varies across ranges, so please refer to each product page, but it is between 2-8 weeks.

Accessories: From stock, or anything up to 6 weeks dependent on stock being available in the UK.


Lighting: Limited stocks are held due to the huge choice of coloured shades, so these items can generally take up to 4 weeks to arrive in the UK.


Artwork: Whilst there are over 1000 framed prints in stock at our store in Brighton, web orders are generally made to order and dispatched directly from the frame maker to minimize the delivery time to you. the overall process is usually 2 – 4 weeks.


If any of our items happened to be out of stock and do not fit into the guide above, we will contact you on receiving the order and confirm the earliest delivery date.



Delivery is £15 for orders up to £100 and £30 for orders over £100, this is a contribution to the overall delivery cost and there may be occasions where a low value fragile item cannot be sent for the price stated, we will advise you of this on receipt of your order.  This covers a standard mainland UK delivery, Highlands & Islands are possible but will need to be quoted as will some remote postcodes.  For non-mainland UK and International deliveries, please contact us on 01273 203167 and we will be able to discuss the delivery/collection options with you.

* Our standard delivery charge covers delivery of upholstery to your room of choice and furniture is generally the same although an unpacking and assembly service is available at a small extra charge, please advise your requirements



Small item delivery:

For smaller items such as cushions and non-fragile items we will use a courier service, mirrors, prints and fragile items need to be sent by specialist carriers and therefore are subject to the charge (subsidized) of £30.



Please ensure when placing the order that the item will fit into your home and there is sufficient access to your room, for example around a tight bend in your staircase or through a narrow doorway.  If you are unsure, then please ask for any specific product dimensions. We cannot be held responsible for items that are unable to be delivered into your property.
